Emotional Eating (or Binge Eating) Treatment

All too often, people can develop an unhealthy relationship with food. Instead of eating to nurture the physical body, “emotional eaters” fall into the trap of using food in attempts to regulate feelings.

At Healthy Futures, we fully understand the underlying reasons for emotional eating, and we are proud to announce we have developed a program that specifically deals with those reasons.

Our Emotional Eating Intensive Outpatient Program (EEIOP) is here to help you start a healthy and happy relationship with food, and to help you break unhealthy relationships with food, such as yo-yo dieting.

Meeting two nights per week, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., our EEIOP offers amazing support, with group and individual therapy from trained and licensed counselors, coaching, exercise support, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), “mindful meal” experiences, nutrition support and more.

Levels of Care

Outpatient: Typically involves coming to a therapist one to two times a week. Adjunct professionals such as a physician, psychiatrist, dietitian, and/or exercise professional may also be part of this outpatient team. One group a week may also be part of your outpatient treatment plan.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Typically involves two to four hours of group and individual programming per day, two to four days per week. Adjunct professionals as described above will also be involved on a regular basis.

Residential Inpatient: 30 to 90 days staying in a structured home or facility. Healthy Futures does not offer residential inpatient treatment.

Acute Inpatient: Need for more intense medical or psychiatric supervision typically followed by residential inpatient. Healthy Futures does not offer inpatient treatment.

Be a part of a group who truly understands these struggles and can help you toward your Healthy Future!
