The Healthy Futures COVID-19 Response Team continues monitoring the pandemic and we are optimistic about the reduction of the spread of the disease, thus we are transitioning our policies thoughtfully and carefully.

Beginning Monday, July 5, 2021, those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are no longer required to wear face masks in the common areas or in any adult group sessions of Healthy Futures. This change applies to all patients, staff, team members, and visitors.

We will relax our adolescent group mask requirement beginning on July 19, allowing time for all teens 12 and above to have completed “full” vaccination, if desired. Those who are vaccinated will then be able to choose if they wear a mask.

For individual sessions, we continue with our policy of allowing face-to-face sessions without masks for those who are fully vaccinated, if this has been agreed upon by both patient and provider.

We also are continuing to increase the number of in-person group sessions. The number of in-person sessions per month varies by group, and your group schedules will reflect your virtual and/or in-person days. Our goal is to increase the number of in-person group sessions if statistics continue to improve (disease spread, hospitalizations, death), and we will continue to do this at a cautious rate that allows for proper response to any changes.

Healthy Futures recommends getting vaccinated if you have no medical or other barriers. As a healthcare facility, we do kindly ask, if you are unvaccinated, to always follow the CDC guideline of remaining masked at Healthy Futures unless eating or drinking.

We remain vigilant with our cleaning protocols and continue to ask all staff, patients, and visitors to continue to screen themselves for any COVID symptoms/exposures prior to entering the building for services and attest at sign-in.
