An open letter regarding mental health

healthy futures

Dear everyone:

As care workers in mental health, and as empaths, we want you to know that we see you and we hear you. These times are unprecedented. We all know our worldwide pandemic created a crisis in the physical health field, but now we are seeing the crisis more clearly in mental health.

The COVID-19 epidemic has contributed to rising anxiety and depression, feelings of isolation, and a general sense of “something’s wrong” with the world.

Again, we see you and we hear you.
We at Healthy Futures are doing everything within our abilities to help as many people as we can. But the reality is, we are human. So, we wanted to share this open letter to encourage you to hang in there. We are all in this together and we will prevail together. The future is bright.

As we work toward that bright, healthy future, we want to thank you all for your understanding and your patience. We are returning calls, emails, and online messages as quickly as we can with the resources we have. When our response isn’t immediate, please understand we are trying our best and we WILL connect with you as soon as we are able.

Our mental health programs also have limits based on participation numbers and provider availability. If a space is not immediately available, please leave us your contact information so we can notify you as soon as we can accommodate you.

Thank you again, and here’s to a healthy future for ALL of us!
