Healthy Futures COVID Update

The rate of COVID-19 infections and deaths in Maricopa County remain steadily lower than the frightening summer spikes we witnessed, yet we are still at levels that call for continued caution, with a heaping dash of hope mixed in.

Healthy Futures’ COVID Response Team continues regular monitoring and planning, and at this time we are remaining in Phase 2 of our COVID-19 Response Plan. This means all of our IOP offerings – Teen Eating Disorder IOP, Adult Eating Disorder IOP, Emotional Eating IOP and Mental Health IOP – remain virtual, with some in-person options as requested by the group (primarily teen group at this time).

We remain committed to making decisions based on the current data AND individual needs of our patients.

Phase 2 also allows for patients to consult with their individual providers about in-person sessions. That decision is left to the collaboration and comfort between provider and patient.

Of course, we continue monitoring and following guidelines from public health agencies, which means mask wearing is required at Healthy Futures in our shared spaces (waiting area, hallways, etc.) This requirement is for patients, staff and providers. We also continue practicing social distancing and disinfection/cleaning protocols.

If any changes to our COVID-19 Response Plan are necessary, we will inform our patients directly by email, and through our website and social media and our website at www.healthyfuturesaz.com. If you’d like to reach us by phone, please call (480) 451-8500.

We are in this together, and as always – here’s to our healthy future!
