A Minute of Mindfulness Breathe In, Breathe Out

May 22, 2023

Welcome to another Minute of Mindfulness with Mia today. Here on top of a mountain, I’m going to teach you a mantra breathing exercise, and it goes like this.

We inhale, breathe.

We exhale, in.

We inhale, breathe.

We exhale, out.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Think of what you want to have here in this mindful moment and what do you want out?

I’m going to say kindness, in. Hate, out.

That’s a little mindful poem to really take in what you want as you breathe in the moment and breathe out what you don’t want.

That just brightens my mood right there. You can do it, however, works for you.

I hope this is helpful. Thank you.

What is ARFID and how can it help children who suffer from eating disorders?

Often, the children who suffer from ARFID experience a choking sensation from the smells or the feeling of certain foods in their mouths. Vomiting is also not unusual. The experience of these sensations leads to the child avoiding or restricting certain foods. Malnutrition then becomes an issue with this disorder.
