Sad News: The Loss of Our Friend and Colleague

Dear friends and colleagues:
It is with a heavy heart we share the news that we have lost a beloved family member at Healthy Futures. Kim Guenther passed away on Friday, July 16, after a brief illness. Kim has been part of the Healthy Futures family for more than 10 years, and she truly was one of a kind, combining compassion, kindness, wisdom, and humor in helping countless people toward eating disorder recovery.
Kim was consistently there for every patient and staff member, no matter what the situation, and could be counted on in so many ways. She was a beloved auntie, and a skilled gardener with a green thumb who could make anything grow.
Kim always shared a smile and her kind heart with anyone who needed her uplifting attention. We will forever miss her warmth and kindness, and her coy humor (one year for Halloween, she literally dressed as the Food Police-badge and holster included!)
Her sudden death is also a tragic loss for those in the eating disorder treatment community. Kim was a veteran Registered Dietitian with more than 25 years of experience in the Phoenix area.
